Cheryl celebrated her 36th birthday on Sunday, marking the day with a low-key family day.
The singer took to Instagram stories on Sunday evening to thank her fans for their messages, but admitted she hadn't had much chance to celebrate as her son Bear, two, was ill.
The video Cheryl shared with her followers gave fans a rare glimpse of the star's life as a mum, with little Bear's voice heard for the first time.

Uploading a video with a filter, Cheryl told her fans Bear had kept her busy. 'I've been trying to do a video all morning to thank you all for your lovely birthday messages and all the videos you made online, so many.' she said.
'Thank you so so much for making me feel thought of and so blessed on my birthday. Lots of love, thankyou.'
Bear then interrupted, babbling at his mother as she glanced down. 'I have a poorly toddler so I don't think I'll be doing that much today,' the singer said.
