Bruce Springsteen has been nominated for an Emmy - for Outstanding Variety Special (Pre-Recorded) for his special Springsteen on Broadway - and if he wins, he would join the rarefied air of entertainers who have captured an Emmy, an Oscar, a Tony and a Grammy.

The Born to Run singer, in his run for the Emmy, faces competition from three other projects - Homecoming: A Film By Beyoncé, Wanda Sykes: Not Normal, and Hannah Gadsby: Nanette - as well as CBS's Carpool Karaoke: When Corden Met McCartney Live From Liverpool.
