A former Bachelor contestant has revealed what the show's producers really think about viewers watching at home.
Laura-Ann Rullo, who starred in Matty J's season in 2017, revealed during an Instagram Q&A on Wednesday that producers openly discussed on set how 'dumb' Bachelor fans are.
When a fan asked a question about how long it takes to film the first cocktail party, she replied that the whole program is just smoke and mirrors.

Laura-Ann said: 'The thing that the producers said to us on day one was that "the viewers are dumb, they think it's happening right now".'
She went on to explain that it actually 'takes three days to film the first episode', and many retakes are required.
'What happens is you wait until sundown [and] you start the cocktail party.
