It may have been a controversial premiere, but Thursday night's Bachelor launch suffered its lowest ratings in five years.  

Wednesday night's premiere was viewed by the smallest audience since Blake Garvey's season in 2014. 

However, it wasn't all bad news for the Channel 10 show, as it was still the most watched entertainment program in its prime time spot.
