Rebecca Judd lays out a tennis court in her $7.3million Melbourne estate

Rebecca and Chris Judd are nearing completion of their $7.3million dream home in the Melbourne suburb of Brighton.

And on Thursday, the 36-year-old Postcards host shared footage to Instagram of tradesmen laying out a tennis court in the spacious backyard.

The property, which the Judds purchased in March last year, already had a tennis court but the couple wanted to upgrade it.

Rebecca told 9Honey Homes earlier this year: 'We measured the existing tennis court and it turned out to have huge base lines.

'I wondered if we could make them smaller and move the tennis court forwards, pinching some extra space from the back base line to build a gym. We spoke to our builder, Dale, and he gave us the green light.

'If we weren’t able to do that, we wouldn’t have bought the house. My husband is in the gym every day so it’s really important and was a big factor in buying this home.'

Back in June, the footy WAG was interviewed by KIIS 101.1's Jase and PJ about her and Chris' new home.

In a rather revealing comment, she spoke of her surprise and disappointment that her luxury Range Rover was 'too big' to fit in the garage.

She explained that she and Chris, whose car also couldn't fit inside, didn't think to measure the garage when looking at houses back in early 2018.

Whoops! When Rebecca and her husband Chris were house-hunting in Melbourne in early 2018, they forgot to properly inspect the garages. As a result, they ended up buying a house (pictured) that couldn't accommodate their luxury vehicles

'When you go to home inspections, you never think to drive your cars into the garage to see if they fit or not,' Rebecca said.

'If you're listening, measure the garage!' she added, offering a word of advice.

She explained that the main issue with the garage was the 'huge column' situated in-between the roller doors that stopped cars from entering.

In order to fix the problem, Rebecca and Chris had to spend around $50,000 to 'knock out the column' so they could drive in and out.

The former weather presenter justified the decision by saying 'it wouldn't be a dream home if the cars were on the street!'

Meanwhile, Rebecca recently offered fans a guided tour of her new home during an episode of Channel Nine's The Style School.
