The film is close to the comedian's heart as his father was a firefighter who died in 9/11.

The star - who used to be engaged to Ariana Grande - was on set, and flashed his tattoos in a grey T-shirt and tracksuit bottoms.
He looked pensive and no doubt the scenes at the working firehouse were emotionally tough to shoot; Pete's own father was a NYC firefighter who was killed in 9/11.
The comedian took a break at one point to cool down with a Sponge Bob ice-cream on a stick.
