She celebrated her 61st birthday in style, dressing up as her alter ego Madame X and partying with friends and family.
And Madonna was serenaded at the bash by her son David Banda, 13, while her daughter Mercy James, 13, played the piano.
David, surrounded by a group of party goers, held the microphone and began to sing Your Song by Elton John when his mother joined him and sang along.

Madonna marked her special day with several other posts to her Instagram, featuring the superstar in full military regalia and fishnets in one picture and revealing impromptu celebrations in two videos.
Currently in the throes of rehearsal for her Madame X theater tour starting this fall, the Material Girl was seen in one of the Instagram videos among her crew of dancers for the tour, receiving birthday donuts as the cheering crowd held red and white Madame X balloons.
'This is the beginning of three marvelous nights of celebration, and it all starts with donuts,' Madonna said, wearing a black t-shirt and a beige bandanna on her head. 'Dig in, motherf---ers!!'
