The Strictly Come Dancing class of 2019 shared their first official group photo as they began practising the show's opening dance on Monday.

And Tess Daly and Claudia Winkleman were spotted arriving alongside the professional dancers for the second day of rehearsals in West London on Tuesday.

The former model, 50, had a fit of the giggles as Claudia, 47, tried to persuade her to clamber into the back of her teeny-tiny Renault Twizy.

Tess, who looked the epitome of style in pink cropped chino trousers and a shimmering rainbow sequin lip print T-shirt, struggled to get her model pins into the electric car.

Claudia watched in amusement as Tess squeezed herself into the back of the car.

Clad in a camouflage jacket and black jeans, the Strictly sidekick wore her signature dark smudgy eyeliner and flesh coloured lipstick for filming.

In July, Motsi Mabuse, who currently appears with her sister Oti on Celebrity Gogglebox, confirmed that she would be replacing classical dancer Darcey Bussell as the new judge on the show.

Professional dancer Kevin Clifton and presenter Stacey Dooley are currently the reigning champions of Strictly Come Dancing 2018.

Kevin, who first took to the iconic dance floor in 2013 with his then dance partner Susanna Reid, has previously come close to winning the final but last year saw him finally lift the coveted trophy.

In 2014 he was a runner-up with his partner Frankie Bridge from The Saturday and in 2015 he was once again in the final with actress Kellie Bright.

Just a year later he again reached the final with his celebrity partner Louise Redknapp but the pair were beaten by Ore Oduba and Kevin's sister Joanne Clifton.
