Since leaving the Love Island villa back in July this year, Molly-Mae has emerged as the rising star, and has been going full-throttle as she makes the most of opportunities that have come her way.

But despite the ITV2 show propelling her to fame and helping her find the 'perfect man' in boxer Tommy, Molly reveals that she doesn't miss life in the villa.

Speaking exclusively to MailOnline, the TV star revealed: 'I don’t really miss life in the villa because I love my life on the outside, there’s so much more. In the villa it’s not a realistic life, you’re put in a situation that’s just not real.

'When I was in there, I was just so excited to get out and just have Tommy in the real world and just do normal things like going for food, going for cinema. There’s not a lot that I miss about the villa to be honest because it was just like a stepping stone for him and I, we had found each other and were just waiting to get out.'

She continued: 'Obviously I miss seeing the girls and spending time with my friends. It was a great experience for me, a once in a lifetime opportunity. It’s hard to put into words because unless you’re in there, no one understands what it was like.'

Over the past couple of months, Molly and her fellow Love Islanders have hardly been out of the headlines.

But with the news that the popular series is set to air twice next year, the first of which starts in January, Molly opened up on the reason that staying 'relevant' isn't a worry for her.

When asked if she feels pressure to make her mark before a new crop of islanders emerged, she replied: 'No. I personally don’t. I was an influencer before Love Island and I just feel like it doesn’t really matter. It’s about how you are as a person.

'If new islanders come, if you’re a good person and people like you and like your Instagram and like your style, you’re still going to stay relevant. So I’m not worried, I’m excited to watch it!'

And the new series isn't the only thing the blonde is excited about as she happily gushed over her boyfriend Tommy.

'He’s literally just perfect!' she enthused.  'Exactly what you see is what you get and the recoupling speeches that he said in the villa are exactly what he says to me at home in bed, he definitely wears his heart on his sleeve. He’s amazing.'

Molly revealed that the pair's original plans to move in together are 'still on the cards', but they're 'not not rushing things' and prefer to take 'each day as it
