While leading competition shows like American Idol and The Voice have been relegated to the traditional networks, 's new Rhythm + Flow, the trailer for which dropped this weekend, will focus specifically on the hip hop segment.

The teaser for the show reveals some very buzzy judges from the world of hip hop and music in general: Cardi B, Chance the Rapper and Tip T.I. Harris.

The clip opens on a shot of Cardi, decked out in a hot pink straight-haired wig, getting out of a car—and she proceeds to appear in roughly ten other wildly different looks throughout the rest of the 35-second video.

The 'unprecedented 3 week event,' as the trailer touts, will follow the three judges as they search for new talent in the genre, and pit them against one another in an all-out rap battle while a studio audience looks on.

'Creativity doesn't have blueprints,' T.I. says at the opening of the clip.

'These streets below us, that's where we're going to find the next hip hop sensation,' we hear while a series of aerial urban shots are displayed.
