The country music star, 35, gave a shout-out to the cop during her Saturday night concert in Atlantic City, New Jersey, to the delight of her fans.

'Something about country music is usually a sad song,' she told the audience in-between songs, according to Us Weekly. 'You gotta have them, sometimes the sad song gets you through a sad time, isn't that right?'
'Lucky for me, I’m not in a sad time anymore in my life,' the ex-wife of Blake Shelton told the crowd.
She then held up her left hand to show off her wedding ring and declared: 'Thank you to my sweet husband from Staten Island, by the way!'
McLoughlin was standing on the side of stage at the time and acknowledged his wife's compliment.
