Former MasterChef Australia judge George Calombaris, 40, has been slammed after posting a picture of himself kissing a dolphin.

Taking to Instagram on Monday, the celebrity chef shared a throwback snap of himself swimming with the animal at Sea World in Queensland, captioning the post: 'Flashback to 2013 for a Monday morning smile.'

But fans weren't impressed by his behaviour, claiming the post is 'so so so sad' and that 'dolphins suffer in captivity.'
