Jessica Marais, 34, was set to return to screens next year in the reboot of nineties drama Halifax f.p. on Nine. 

But new reports claim the embattled actress has pulled out of the project, citing scheduling conflicts. 

According to the Sun Herald's Emerald City, The Gold Logie nominee has quit the show 'as it doesn't fit with her schedule and personal commitments.'

In July it was announced the mother-of-one would join the show's A-list cast, including Anthony LaPaglia and fellow Packed To The Rafters star Rebecca Gibney.

'I am so excited to be working with Rebecca [Gibney] again, and on such an iconic drama,' Jessica said in a statement in June.
