She has been training day and night with dance partner Johannes Radebe ahead of the first live Strictly Come Dancing show.
And Catherine Tyldesley enjoyed a break from her hectic dance schedule as she rang in her 36th birthday with a celebratory meal at Nando's on Tuesday, four days before her ballroom debut.
The former Corrie star looked relaxed and happy as she stepped out hand-in-hand with BFF Peter Eccleston in Manchester.
Anticipation: Catherine Tyldesley enjoyed a break from her hectic dance schedule as she rang in her 36th birthday with a celebratory meal at Nando's on Tuesday, four days before her ballroom debut
Coming straight from rehearsals, the star looked lithe in a black sports jacket paired with matching leggings which revealed her toned legs.
The actress added a splash of colour with pastel pink trainers and accessorised with a Gucci handbag.
Her brunette locks were styled in a sleek half updo while the star accentuated her pretty features with a radiant palette of make-up.
Showing no signs of nerves, the mother-of-one cracked a relaxed smile as her companion carried their chicken feast in a takeaway bag.

The sighting comes after Catherine reminisced about her own wedding dance as she compared the nerves she felt then to her anticipation at hitting the Strictly dance floor.
Catherine opened up on her first dance with husband Tom Pitfield as Mr and Mrs, insisting their marriage is stronger than ever amid the infamous Strictly curse.
Speaking in a interview with Hello! magazine, the actress told how she and personal trainer Tom, whom she wed three years ago, didn't have a choreographed routine when they took to the floor on their big day.
She explained: 'There were no nerves back then, it was nothing like I'm feeling now. We hadn't choreographed anything and it was more Tom and I just shuffling along in a prolonged hug rather than a full-on dance routine.'
Nearly showtime: Catherine has been limbering up on the dancefloor ahead of her Strictly debut with partner Johannes Radebe
Rehearsal ready: England football sensation Alex Scott looked casually cool as she headed to rehearsals with dance partner Neil Jones
Catherine's nerves about her first official dance comes as it was revealed that she and Johannes will be doing the Viennese Waltz.
Speaking in the joint interview with Hello!, Catherine and Tom admitted he has grown close to Johannes, with the actress revealing 'He hit it off with Johannes straight away.'
Tom added that he has no worries about the so-called Strictly curse, which has seen multiple relationships crumble during celebs' time on the show.
He said: 'My friends have always given me a lot of stick. I am easy pickings for them with a wife on TV so, when the whole Strictly thing came up, they were rubbing their hands getting ready.'
Wave: Strictly pro Nadiya Bychkova, who is partnered with David James, wrapped up as she headed to rehearsals
Catherine added: 'His mates wind him up about everything. They used to wind him up when I got a new boyfriend on Corrie, but Tom just takes it on the chin. '
With this being Johannes' first year with a celebrity partner on the show, Catherine added that she hopes to make her partner 'proud' by doing 'well' in the competition.
However, it seems as though the soap siren's big plan hadn't quite gone to plan as it was reported earlier this week that she had almost 'vomited' over Johannes during rehearsals.
Taking to Instagram to talk with fans on Tuesday, the actress said: 'So, day two, Johannes, do we want to talk about what’s happened?'
Coffee run: Neil Jones brought his adorable dog to rehearsals as he clutched two coffees
Her partner joked: 'Look its day two, what more could you ask for, babe I don’t expect much its day two.'
Catherine then admitted, 'It's day two, I wasn’t sick, I didn’t vomit on you, yet, I wretched.'
Telling her fans not to panic, she promised that 'tomorrow will be a better day', which it was, as she told fans on Wednesday that she had 'so many breakthrough moments.'
Having already watched their routine '79 times', Catherine still found it difficult to remember the steps, and commended Johannes on his skills as a dancer.
But, she was overjoyed that her hard work had paid off and gushed: 'I've got a way to go, but loads of breakthrough moments, and when you get it right your soul is just... you’re just flying, it is the best feeling!'
'I'm nothing amazing, in fact I'm nothing great, I'm nothing good, but it lights me up. I'm so happy right now, and the big part of that is Johannes, he’s whip ass.
'Never met a guy like him, he’s awesome, we are just having the best time and he’s the most incredible teacher, and dancer. She can't wait til tomorrow, I'm not going to sleep, high as a kite.'
Strictly Come Dancing kicked off its 2019 series with a launch show last week, where viewers saw the celebs being paired with their professional partners.
The first live show doesn't hit screens until September 21, leaving the pairings time to practice.
