The Bachelor's Chelsie McLeod has been tipped to win the heart of Matt Agnew since the very beginning of the season. 

And on Thursday, it appears Channel 10 dropped another major hint that the 28-year-old chemical engineer will be chosen by Matt during the finale. 

In an Instagram promo, which features both Chelsie and fellow finalist Abbie Chatfield, the network seemingly provided a subtle clue as to who is going to win the show.

According to a long-standing fan theory, whoever is wearing the lighter coloured dress during the finale will ultimately win the heart of the Bachelor and the show. 

This theory has been proved realiable over the years, with previous stars Laura Byrne, Alex Nation and Snezana Markoski all finding true love with their respective suitors.    

In this year's promotional image, Chelsie is pictured wearing a nude form-fitting gown with a plunging neckline, while Abbie wears a sheer black beaded number.
