The 71st primetime Emmy Awards show on Sunday - which saw Games Of Thrones as the big winner - didn't do so well.

The ceremony, which aired on Fox, had an all-time low rating, according to TV Line.

The show reportedly brought in only six million viewers with a 1.5 demo ratings. This means viewership was down 34 percent from last year’s broadcast.

This also marks the sixth straight year ratings have declined for the broadcast. 

One of the biggest problems is that the show took place on Sunday which competes with Sunday Night Football.  

Last year the producers were smart to move the Emmys to Monday to avoid any competition.

The site also noted that cable and streaming programs accounted for 86 percent of this year’s Emmys which means the audience was more narrow.
