Frank Ocean called the late Joan Rivers a major inspiration to him.
The 31-year-old musical artist, speaking with W Magazine, said he relished the late comic's brash attitude and the footprint she left on pop culture.
'Rest in peace. My legend ... she was sick! I mean, unapologetic,' the New Orleans native said of the fashion Police personality. 'I think that "F*** who sees me" energy, "This is what I am giving. Period," is what I relate to in ballroom culture - it's this extroversion manifest.'

When the interviewer noted Rivers' fearlessness - the comic was no stranger to controversies over her words - Ocean explained how he related to the mindset.
