And after reaping the rewards of her hard work and success, Charli XCX, 27, has now offered an insight into her 'creepy and weird' four-bedroom/three story Los Angeles abode. 

Despite swapping her native Essex for the bright lights of , the songstress has sought solace in home comforts as she noted that she 'still ended up in an archetypal British house'.

Posing for a shoot with Architectural Digest, Charli, real name Charlotte Emma Aitchison, takes great pride in showing off her incredible retro property. 

Built in 1927, the property certainly boasts an old-school feel with its large, diamond-shaped windows and high, exposed wooden ceilings. 

Known as one of the original Hollywoodland houses located just south of the iconic sign, Charli has certainly shown off her flair for interiors by putting her own unique touch on the property.
