Good Morning Britain's Laura Tobin was forced to improvise her weather segment as Tuesday's episode suffered a technical blunder.

During the awkward mishap, the broadcast meteorologist, 37, was left red-faced as she attempted to read the news from the teleprompter, which stopped working mid-way through her TV appearance.

Weather girl Laura burst into giggles as she told viewers: 'The band of rain it's going to, later on, err, sorry that's not working very well!'

The media personality kicked her her segment in typically professional as she said: 'Today, the forecast is for yet more rain. It moved north overnight, heavy over southern areas of the UK, and tracking it's way northwards.'

After discovering the show's gaffe, she struggled to power through the news as she added: 'The band of rain is moving its way northwards as we head through the day today, oops, its not working at all now... I'll just describe the weather now!'

Despite the slip-up, Laura looked chirpy as she sported a T-shirt with Susanna Reid's face emblazoned across it, in celebration of her win at the Reality TV Awards, scooping the Celebrity Personality, Best Talk Show and Best Television Presenter gongs.
