The Bachelor's Tim Robards will stay on Neighbours for the foreseeable future, despite tabloid reports to the contrary.

The 37-year-old former chiropractor, who landed a permanent role as Pierce Greyson last year, will remain on screen 'well into 2020'.

'We are absolutely delighted with Tim's performance and have just recontracted him to ensure his character is on screen well into 2020,' the show's executive producer Jason Herbison told Daily Mail Australia.

'We have some incredibly juicy story arcs in the pipeline for Pierce which are sure to shock and enthrall fans and we have no doubt Tim will deliver,' Mr Herbison added.

The statement comes after Woman's Day reported that Neighbours bosses weren't impressed with Tim's performance and were considering reducing his screen time.
