He was recently named the new host of Australia's rebooted reality show The Amazing Race.
But Beau Ryan, who was famously embroiled in a cheating scandal with Hi-5 star Lauren Brant in 2015, has admitted his wife Kara had reservations about him taking on the jet-setting gig.
Speaking to The Daily Telegraph on Sunday, Beau described his six-week stint filming The Amazing Race away from his family, admitting: 'Looking back at it now, [Kara] probably had reasons and anyone would have concerns when I was away for that long.'

'But if it was a test, we passed,' the TV larrikin added, confirming that the couple are stronger than ever.
Reflecting on the infamous 2015 scandal's affect on his marriage, Beau told the publication: 'We've been to hell and back, as you know, but I've grown a lot as a person'
