Dion Lee was one of the handful of local designers featured in Meghan Markle's tour wardrobe during her 2018 tour of Australia.
A year on from the visit, the Sydney-based designer has spoken the positive impact of dressing the Duchess of Sussex to Studio 10 at Derby Day in Melbourne.

Meghan wore Dion Lee's Folded Sail Dress worth $1,290 AUD during her visit to Melbourne Government House with Prince Harry in October 2018.
Dion revealed that he and his team found out the actress-turned-royal wore the frock while watching the news.
'It's such an extensive tour and so many different locations and commitments. So we had no idea that it was going to be pop up when it did.
He also revealed that he and his team created the dress for her, saying: 'We worked with her team to develop it.'
