EastEnders star Danny Walters has quit the soap after two years of playing Keanu Taylor.
The actor, 25, confirmed the news of his departure in a statement, saying it's been 'a joy' to play the soap bad boy.
Danny's exit comes as showrunner Jon Sen appeared to hint that Keanu could meet a grisly fate in the coming week, as his affair with Sharon Mitchell (played by Letitia Dean) is finally exposed in explosive Christmas scenes.

Danny joined EastEnders in 2017 as the son of the loudmouthed Karen Taylor (Lorraine Stanley), and the family quickly made an impact with their non-stop money woes and confrontations.
But in recent weeks he has left viewers gripped after having a steamy affair with married Sharon, who has since fallen pregnant.
While Sharon has learned that Keanu is the father of her unborn baby, the truth is yet to be revealed to either him, or her husband Phil Mitchell (Steve McFadden).
