Time sure does fly, as seen with the release of Ariana Grande's titular lead single from her fifth studio album, Thank U, Next — it's already been one whole year since the music video came out.
On Saturday, the 7 Rings songbird shared an adorable and already-nostalgic gallery of images from the shoot for the music video, which famously parodied iconic teen comedies like Mean Girls, Bring It On, Legally Blonde and 13 Going On 30.
Captioning the suite of images simply with, 'a year,' Ari, 26, can be seen on an exercise machine with an old-school Mac, posing with Legally Blonde's Jennifer Coolidge, and in several group shots in various getups inspired by her favorite films.
It's been 'a year': On Saturday, Ariana Grande shared an adorable and already-nostalgic gallery of images from the shoot for her music video for Thank U, Next, dropped exactly one year ago
In the first image, Grande is seen with her trademark long flowing topknot ponytail, chatting on a fluffy pink phone while exercising in front of her orange MacBook a la Elle Woods.
In the group shots, however, the Boca Raton, Florida-born Grammy winner can be seen sans her normal hair, in a blond 'do more inspired by Rachel McAdams' iconic Mean Girls character Regina George.
