John Travolta has a knack for scoring roles in films that got huge boosts from the old movie soundtrack model.
The success of Saturday Night Fever helped make Travolta a worldwide phenomenon in 1977; while the following year saw his star rise even higher with the musical, Grease, alongside Olivia Newton-John.
And now, some 25 years after its release, Travolta has shared a new photo on Instagram to celebrate the soundtrack of Pulp Fiction going triple platinum with more than 3 million units sold in the US.

In the photo, the New Jersey native proudly sat next to the prestigious 3X platinum award, dressed in all black with a full beard and a newly-shaved head.
'Just got my Pulp Fiction platinum records!! Thanks everyone!' the 65-year-old wrote in the caption.
Travolta famously played heroin-addicted gangster Vincent Vega in Quentin Tarantino's crime film that also starred Samual L. Jackson, Uma Thurman, Ving Rhames, Bruce Willis, Tim Roth and Amanda Plummer, among others.
