I'm A Celebrity... Get Me Out Of Here! viewers were left baffled on Saturday when Ian Wright's swear words were bleeped out of the live show.

Fans flooded to social media after the former footballer, 56, was voted by the public to take part in the next Bush Tucker Trial.

He was less than impressed with the decision, as he held his face in his hands and told fellow campmates to leave him alone.

After Ant and Dec left the camp the other celebrities tried to offer him comfort but he said: 'Don't... I don't want to... don't pamper me.'

And his next sentence was entirely bleeped out by the show's producers, sending viewers into meltdown over how a live show could be edited.

Viewers penned: 'Love how it says LIVE in the corner of the screen on #ImACeleb yet they're able to bleep out Ian Wright swearing. #imaceleb2019'; 'How did they manage to sensor Ian there when it was live? #ImACeleb #ImACelebrity'; 'How was that live if they censored out the profanity? [sic].

Others were keen to point out even the live show still had a few seconds' delay to allow the producers to bleep out any inappropriate language.

Viewers tweeted: 'All live TV is 1 minute behind'; ' 'Live tv normally have a few seconds delay, just in case. [sic]'

It comes after Andrew Maxwell's wife Suraya El-Wakil spoke out on the bullying row surrounding her comedian husband and Ian Wright.

Ofcom confirmed they received complaints over Ian's 'perceived bullying' of Andrew during this week's episodes of the ITV show.
