Miley Cyrus would have been 'hurt' by her sister-in-law Elsa Pataky's recent comments about her split from Liam Hemsworth, say friends.
Elsa - who is married to Liam's brother, Chris - said at a press conference in Madrid last month that the Hunger Games star, 29, 'deserves much better' than Miley.
While the Wrecking Ball hitmaker has yet to respond, sources say she still cares deeply about what the Hemsworth family thinks of her.

A friend of Miley's told Woman's Day: 'Elsa saying she wasn't good enough for Liam will hurt her hard.'
The rivalry between the two women began on November 21, when Hola! magazine reported what Elsa, 43, had said about Miley at a press conference in Madrid.
When asked how Liam was coping with his recent marriage split, she replied: 'My brother-in-law, well… after a relationship that you've dedicated ten years to, he's a little bit down, but he's coping well, he's a strong boy and he deserves the best.'
