Victoria Beckham has marked World AIDS Day with a series of moving posts.

The star, 45, revealed she was proud to help raise awareness of the fight towards an AIDS free future as she encouraged everyone to support the cause.

Taking to her Instagram account on Sunday, the designer shared a number of pictures from a recent trip as part of her work as a UN AIDS Global Goodwill Ambassador, meeting families from South Africa whose lives have been affected by the disease,

Victoria posted: 'It’s been 5 years since I became a #UNAIDS global goodwill ambassador and I’m proud to help raise awareness on the fight towards an AIDS free future.

'We must unite and use our voices, to join together and discuss the issues around the ongoing battle to eradicate HIV and AIDS. x VB #WorldAIDSDay #ZeroNewInfections #ZeroDiscrimination'.

Victoria also paid tribute to her close friends Sir Elton John and David Furnish, thanking them for their hard work and the changes Elton John's Aids Foundation has made.
