It's the reality show that has started the careers of some of the biggest child stars in the American entertainment industry.
And now the controversial Lifetime series Dance Moms will have an Australian spin-off, coached by none other than Nikki Webster.
The U.S. version has been insanely popular with Australian audiences, with the Dance Moms cast having toured the country multiple times.

But it isn't all about the dance, with fans tuning in to watch the drama between the dancer's mothers unfold week after week.
Australian casting was announced on Tuesday, with one of the audition requirements being that the dancer must chat to their mother in the application video.
The casting call is clearly hunting for dance divas, asking parents whether their child 'outshines everyone they compete against'.

The second draw to the original series was the tough as nails dance coach Abby Lee Miller.
Some of her highlights on the show included trying to bite one of the mothers, sabotaging students to stop them from winning, and browbeating her young dancers.
