Tammy Hembrow, one of Australia's most popular Instagram users, had her verified account hacked overnight.
Anonymous cyber criminals took control of her account and began spamming her Story and feed with advertisements for fraudulent iPhone giveaways.
They also promised to release a 'full 46-minute sex tape' if 40,000 of Tammy's followers downloaded 'a free app'.

The hacking was part of an unauthorised scam and Daily Mail Australia is not suggesting any sex tape actually exists.
The cyber attack took place shortly after 1am on Wednesday night.
At the time, Tammy was attending an event hosted by NEON Model Management and the PrettyLittleThing fashion label at Watsons Bay Hotel in Sydney.
