A male fan of pop duo The Veronicas risked his life during their set at festival Beyond The Valley 2019 in Lardner Park, Victoria on New Year's Eve.

The attendee danced on top of a huge speaker rig after scaling up the dangerous metal frame, which towered above the crowd, as the sisters performed.

Video footage from the event showed a security worker climbing up the tower to try and get the fan down safely, as he obliviously danced in a flailing kimono.
