She made her debut as a judge on The Greatest Dancer last year. 

And as Cheryl, 36, prepares for the BBC1 show's second season, she has admitted that being mum to two-year-old son Bear has made her feel guilty about eliminating young contestants on the show due to 'mother instinct'. 

Speaking to The Sun alongside her co-star Oti Mabuse, she said: 'I think your natural instinct as a mother kicks in and I know my child loves dancing. I think, oh my god, if that was my child, how would I feel?'

Cheryl, who shares her only son Bear with her ex Liam Payne, is returning to the panel on the show where hopefuls of all ages and dance styles compete for the chance to perform on Strictly and to win a whopping £50,000.

When grilled about their experiences on the show, Oti, 29, admitted: 'My least favourite part of the whole show is the eliminations.' 

Echoing this, Cheryl made her confession about how she struggles with the work due to her beloved son and his love of dance.  

Last year, she said of joining the show: 'I'm still figuring it out, finding new emotions I've never felt before. I've got 'mam guilt' definitely. And it all feels different. But it was something I had to do. It's good for me to have a bit of me back.'
