Cameron and her husband Benji Madden, 40, shared the happy news in a text post on Instagram on Friday that they welcomed a baby daughter shortly before the new year.
'We are so happy, blessed and grateful to begin this new decade by announcing the birth of our daughter, Raddix Madden,' they wrote. 'She has instantly captured our hearts and completed our family.'
Cameron's friend Gwyneth could barely contain her joy at the news while walking the Golden Globes red carpet.
'We're very, very excited, she said. 'She's going to be the best.'
