Otis and Ola grow closer in new trailer for Sex Education season 2 

have released the trailer for the highly anticipated second season of Sex Education with the cast getting steamier than ever. 

The teen comedy-drama is back in action for another batch of episodes as Otis Milburn (Asa Butterfield) comes to grips with his newly discovered sexual urges in order to profress with his girlfriend Ola (Patricia Allison).

The pair get more than they bargained for when they are horrified to walk in on his mother (Gillian Anderson) and her father (Mikael Persbrandt) getting intimate with Otis' friend telling him: 'You've finally got a girlfriend and she's basically your sister'.

The trailer opens with Otis' mother Jean, a sex therapist, addressing the entire student body of her son's school about sex, leaving him humiliated.

Otis is then heard saying: 'It's a new year, no more clinic, no more drama', before it is revealed Moordale Secondary is in the throes of a chlamydia outbreak.

The outbreak highlights the need for better sex education in the school at the same time as a group of new students arrive who challenge the status quo.  

While he appears eager to move things along in his relationship with Ola, Otis is also dealing with ex girlfriend Maeve (Emma Mackey).

After her behaviour in series one, some fans assumed she would be expelled from the school, which appears to have come to pass. 

In the new trailer, she is seen entering a school carrying a large bundle of sheets and says: 'If you let me back in, I won't tell everyone that your school is full of cheats.' 

Meanwhile, Eric (Ncuti Gatwa) appears to have a new love interest as a new French student starts in the school and asks him out on a date, with the pair then seen kissing.
