Australian influencer Tammy Hembrow has donated $22,833 to Wildlife Rescue South Coast, after facing a fan backlash over her bushfire fundraiser post. 

On Tuesday night, the 25-year-old's label Saski Collection transferred the generous amount after promising to donate all the company's profits over a 24 hour period.

Tammy had previously deactivated her Instagram account for several hours after being slammed for promoting her philanthropic efforts with a raunchy snap.

Saski Collection announced on Tuesday: 'We are so proud to be donating $22,833 on behalf of all our customers who made an order over the last 24 hours. 

'This money is going directly to @wildliferescuesc in the hopes it will help support our precious Australian wildlife that have been impacted by this emergency. 

'Again, we cannot thank you all enough for your support.'

Saski Collection's website also posted several links to charities and organisations that customers can donate to.

On Monday, Tammy received a fan backlash when she chose to promote her Saski Collection fundraiser with a risqué photo.

According to The Daily Telegraph, the social media star temporarily deactivated her account after receiving a slew of negative comments below the post.

The offending image showed Tammy posing braless on a luxury yacht in just a pair of bikini bottoms and a soaking wet T-shirt.
