Tammy and Emilee Hembrow reveal their health and fitness tips

The Hembrow sisters are known for living healthy and active lifestyles.

And on Monday, Tammy and Emilee revealed their top tips for starting the New Year on the right track.

Speaking on their podcast, Hanging With The Hembrows, Tammy said her best advice is simply to 'get moving', whether in the gym or outdoors.

She recommended that intermediate or advanced gym-goers do a mix of cardio and weights and avoid focusing too much on 'one body part'.

The fitness guru, 25, said: 'It's important to train your back and things like that because you want a stable core, you want to be strong, you want to prevent injury.'

Tammy added that women especially need to engage their muscles correctly and to put in their full effort.

She suggested that visualising the muscle contracting is a good way to self-motivate and push oneself.
