They are the wildly popular presenting duo who are known for their hilarious moments on live TV.

And Holly Willoughby left Phillip Schofield and the This Morning crew in hysterics once more as she dropped an unintentionally cheeky quip on Wednesday's episode of the show.

The unfortunate moment occurred when the presenter, 38, and Phillip, 57, were about to spin a wheel of fortune during a competition on the show.

As Phillip prepared to spin the wheel, a whimsical Holly asked the viewer for their thoughts on a spinning technique, saying: 'Hard or soft, how do you like it?'

A stunned Phillip rolled his eyes before bursting into laughter, with the crew heard cackling in the background.

As the viewer answered 'hard' an undeterred Holly exclaimed 'hard!' before spinning the wheel.

The playful moment comes one day after the presenting pair  continuously broke down in fits of laughter  after parents sent in their kids' hilarious drawing fails.

Innuendo: As Phillip prepared to spin the wheel, a whimsical Holly asked the viewer for their thoughts on a spinning technique, saying: 'Hard or soft, how do you like it?'

The pair opened the show by reflecting on one of their most watched YouTube segments, featuring artwork sent in from their fans' children, which thanks to some unfortunate shapes had a far cruder meaning.  

This prompted a whole new wave of pictures to be sent in that were definitely not appropriate for the kitchen fridge. 

One was an innocently attempted mermaid which resembled something far more masculine.

While attempting to hold back her giggles, Holly said to her co-host: 'I want to make a coffee book of all these drawings, so when those January blues hit you can just look at it and laugh'.
