Rap superstar Lizzo took a break from her Australian tour on Wednesday to help those affected by the devastating bushfires.

The Good As Hell star, 31, visited a Foodbank centre in Melbourne, where she packed emergency hampers and greeted fellow volunteers.

'We had the one and only Lizzo helping us sort and pack hampers in the warehouse today!' Foodbank wrote on their Facebook page.

Lizzo told the volunteers: 'Thank you so much for volunteering your time and your energy and your hearts... Let's go get some boxes!'

Foodbank is the largest food relief charity in Australia and has been instrumental in delivering care packages to families impacted by the bushfires.
