Love Island: Twins Eve and Jess fall out before stealing Mike and Callum from ...

The first ever winter series of Love Island kicked off on Sunday, with Laura Whitmore making her hosting debut as Caroline Flack's replacement.

And, on Monday evening the drama continued in the Cape Town, South Africa, villa, with identical twins Eve and Jess Gale having bitter fallout before stealing Mike Boateng and Callum Jones from Leanne Amaning and Shaughna Phillips.

The blonde beauties, 20, who made a late bombshell arrival at the end of the inaugural episode, initially fought over Callum Jones, but it was Eve who eventually swiped the man she wanted.

As the episode began, Mike voiced his concerns that partner Leanne is 'very reserved' while admitting that he thinks the twins are 'cute.'

Half-predicting the future, Shaughna Phillips was visibly concerned about their arrivals and admitted that she hoped the twins went after the same man and ended up leaving the villa because of the fallout.

Discussing which men they'd taken a liking to while on their own, Eve and Jess admitted that Mike and Callum had caught their eyes.

Before the day ended, Shaughna opened up in the diary room about her fears over the new arrivals, asserting: 'It's game on.'

After a good night's sleep in the new bed the twins firmed up their thoughts, with one sister saying she was interested in Mike, Connor and Callum, while the other sister admitted to liking Callum and Mike.

As Nas lay on the charm with the twins, his partner Siânnise fumed that he had made no effort with her.

Sophie Piper took the bull by the horns and grabbed Connor for a chat, with the coffee bean salesman telling his partner that he isn't interested in getting to know anyone else.

Awkwardly, the twins then pulled Connor for a chat, and also asked Callum to join them.

Shaughna admitted she was 'sh*tting herself' at the prospect of losing Callum to one of the twins.

She admitted that she had a game plan of 'playing it cool' but confessed: 'So basically that's my man and you're taking my man' while chatting to fellow Love Islanders in the pool.

Steamy secrets are revealed in Spill The Tea, where contestants slide into a paddling pol of tea.

Mike goes first kisses Leanne. She admitted: 'It could have been better.'

Paige reveals her ex boyfriend in Lewis Capaldi.

Nas goes second and kisses Siânnise. She admitted: 'He's a good kisser 100% but there's just not that spark there for me.'

Awkwardly he got her name wrong, mixing her up with Shaughna.

Ollie went next, kissing Paige, despite the person who texted US rapper Tyga being Eve.

Mike chose to Jess, but it was revealed that in fact Sophie Piper's  favourite sex position is 'all of them.'

Shaughna was first up from the girls and kissed Callum, admitting: 'I knew I was gonna kiss straight away.'

Callum admitted: 'It was a good first kiss, I enjoyed it.'

Paige went next, kissing Sophie's parner Connor, despite it turning out that Ollie was the person who'd cheated on his previous girlfriend multiple times.

Sophie kissed partner Conner, and was correct in her guess that he was the person who'd sleep with over 100 people.

Eve chose to kiss Callum, despite Nas admitting that he was the person who'd once fallen asleep during sex.

Callum's partner Shaughna was furious, admitting in the diary room: 'I can't control my face. I'd be two hours into a mood swing until I realise that my face has been like a slapped arse all day.'

Leanne lost a nail as she slid down the slide and picked out Mike as the person who'd only ever spent £20 on a date. It turned out that Nas was actually the culprit.

Jess then kissed Mike, but following the challenge during a one-on-one chat the police officer confessed to Leanne that she was someone he could be with, and promised to reassure her about his feelings.

'Jess kissed me twice, so how did you feel about that?' asked Mike with Leanne remaining calm because it happened during a challenge.

The pair seemed to grow closer, with Mike confessing that he enjoyed the kiss he and Leanne shared in the challenge, leaving her to tell him: 'We can have another one later.'

The policeman then has a chat with the twins admitted: 'I Just wanted to kiss her' when chatting about Jess.

The twins quizzed Mike on what he'd said to Leanne, and he explained: 'I basically made her aware that regardless of what happens that I still want to get to know her.

'But that I'm not gonna shut things off. It's just the second day in the villa.'

With the twins clearly satisfied, Mike celebrated with them, adding: 'Ching ching to looking good.'

Mike then concluded: 'I'm happy with where I am with Leanne but I'd be happy if I got stolen too.'

The police officer then went over to Leanne who was relaxing with a few other female Love Islanders.

When quizzed about what he wants, he told them: 'My head is with this beautiful young lady to my left [Leanne].'

Pushed about his thoughts on the twins, he admitted: 'I've said from day on they're cute, but anything can happen.'

The twins then pulled Callum for a chat, with Shaughna joking: 'I slipped off to take my braces back and my man's gone.'

As the contestants gathered at the fire pit for the twins to choose the men they want to steal, the tensions were clear.

Jess chose to steal Mike from Leanne, while Eve chose to steal Callum from Shaughna.

'Got a text, not a man,' joked Shaughna as she received a text explaining that after a recoupling later in the week, the singletons will be dumped from the island.

'I'm the Beyoncé of Waltham Forest! The type of guys that come up to me on a night out I literally wouldn't look twice at, just no. I give a fake number, a fake name, fake Snap, fake Insta. I'm not interested. Technically speaking, I've never had a boyfriend. I've had my fair share of situationships and they're not for me. A situationship is when you're together, but not together, so like you're together without the label. I want to go on Love Island because I want to overcome my fear of men, like I am genuinely terrified. I pledge to change. I'm not going to
