Love Island: 'This is the hardest decision' Ollie Williams' villa exit teased ...

Love Island's Ollie Williams revealed leaving the villa was 'the hardest decision' of his life on Tuesday night's episode.

Earlier in the day it was announced that Ollie, 23, has quit the ITV2 series after just three days with the hunk saying in a statement the show made him realise he was still in love with his ex, Laura Nofer, 23.

Photos had surfaced over the weekend of him posing with various dead carcasses, guns rested against the corpses, supposedly to promote his hunting business - leading to a furious reaction and an online petition to get him removed from the island.

Gathering his fellow Islanders around the firepit for a chat in a preview clip for Wednesday's episode, a shaken Ollie looked downcast as he revealed his exit.

He said: 'This is the hardest decision I've ever made.'

The clip comes hours after Ollie's departure was announced, with the hunk revealing he still had feelings for his ex.

Laura and Ollie split last year, and Ollie, who was coupled up with fellow Islander Paige Turley said in a statement that he simply isn't ready for another relationship.

A Love Island spokesman told MailOnline: 'Ollie has made the decision to leave the Love Island villa.

Explaining his reasons for leaving, Ollie said in the Beach Hut, in upcoming scenes, he said: 'I have to be honest with myself, and everyone, that I do still love someone else…

'I have to follow my heart in this scenario and it would be wrong for me to ignore these feelings.

'At the end of the day, this is Love Island and it's about finding love. If I carried on anything with Paige [Turley] , or any other girl that might come into the villa, it wouldn't be fair on them.'

Ollie has already left the South African villa after telling his fellow Islanders he cheated on an ex nine times - although he did not say if this was Laura.

A source told The Sun: 'The show made Ollie realise he wasn't ready to be in another serious relationship and he still has really strong feelings for Laura.

Monday's episode saw bombshell twins Eve and Jess enter the villa.

Later in the show, when it came to the moment the twins had to choose which man they wanted to couple up with, tensions were high.
