It was penned as a self-professed 'cry for help', just four days before her near-fatal overdose.

And Demi Lovato was overcome with emotion as she performed at the Grammys on Sunday night, her first performance since she was rushed to hospital in July 2018.

Looking down at the microphone, the 27-year-old fumbled the start to her song, seemingly shedding a tear before she nodded to her pianist to restart.

But on her second attempt she nailed her comeback song Anyone, which features the heartbreaking lyrics, 'nobodies listening to me'.

Her efforts moved the A-list crowd, who cheered her on as they gave Demi a standing ovation.
