Of how the spark was reignited between them, the comedian, 36, said: 'I went home to search my ancestry and I bumped in a pub into my childhood sweetheart.

Earlier on, she discussed the 10-year manbatical that she vowed to go on in 2016, and admitted: 'I was in the wrong relationships for a while, and I decided I found peace in being alone.
'If I let that stigma in being a single mother and people kept saying "when are you going to find a man?", and I thought I enjoy being alone. Then when I found peace being alone I met someone.'
Going on to talk about how her daughter Violent, 10, reacted to Katherine's new beau, she admitted: 'She didn’t take it well, she’s very protective of me, we're like sisters, which definitely wont backfire later, but now she loves him.'
