Ben Shephard threatens to storm off Good Morning Britain after getting 'grief'

Ben Shephard was having another bad day at the office as he threatened to storm off Good Morning Britain after telling viewers he'd 'had enough'.

The GMB presenter, 45, jokingly threw his papers onto the desk and stood up to leave during a segment with guests Iain Dale and Ayesha Hazarika.

It comes a day after things got awkwardly tense between him and co-presenter Kate Garraway during a lively debate.

On Friday, Ben was discussing a range of topics including the cabinet reshuffle with the political commentators on the show.

The broadcaster thanked Iain for staying until the end the until of the segment - highlighting that they are both West Ham fans and usually leave matches before the final whistle.

Iain then jokingly claims that Ben 'didn't defend him', but the presenter quickly protests the remark before asking him not to give him 'anymore grief'.

Ben then stands up out of his chair before stating: 'Right, I've had enough. I'm going.'

Co-presenter Kate, surprised by his actions, then slams her hands down on the table and laughs, appearing to bring Ben back to the desk.

'Lots more still to come. We'll get everyone back. Don't go anywhere,' said Kate, gesturing at Ben.

It comes just a day after the presenter and Kate Garraway had their 'first row in 20 years'  during a Thursday morning debate about reclining seats on planes.

However following the dispute, viewers appeared to take aim at Ben and accused him of being 'rude' and 'cutting off' Kate as their spat became more heated.

The debate was over a viral video of an American Airlines passenger continually smashing the back of a headrest after the woman in front reclined her seat.
