Kimberley told The Sun: 'I saw Nadine the other day in London and it was so nice to catch up with her. It's been a while.

'We just bumped into each other at an event. It made me feel nostalgic.'

She added: 'I'm glad I still get to spend time with the girls and see them.'

Kimberley also teased a potential reunion as the band gear up to celebrate their 20-year anniversary in 2022, although the star admitted that it was a 'long way off still'.

'We don't really speak often at all. She obviously moved to America and I guess we just sort of drifted apart like you do really.'

It came after Nadine admitted that she didn't know if she had the full support of her former Girls Aloud bandmates during her stint on the ITV jungle series, because she hadn't spoken to them in more than half a decade.

The Northern Irish singer, 34, told The Mirror: 'I spoke to Sarah (Harding) around the time of Big Brother but I haven't seen or spoken to them since the end of Girls Aloud or just before I had my daughter.

'So that's about six years ago. Sarah more recently at the start of Big Brother when she was very excited, but yeah I haven't spoken to or seen any of them in about that long.'
