Mummy Diaries viewers have been watching Sam Faiers and her partner Paul Knightley muse over their son Paul's education future.

And Wednesday night's episode of the show saw the latest development in the saga as Sam, 29, met with a school advisor, who informed the star that she had just one week left to apply for a coveted place at a school of choice.

While the former TOWIE star admitted she was 'naive' over the subject, fans soon swarmed social media to query how she had not known what she needed to do when her sister and co-star Billie had gone through the same process.

Sam and Paul caused shockwaves last series when they revealed they did not plan to send their son to nursery as they wanted him at home as long as possible.

While they have now been musing over home schooling their son, four, the stunner was sure to explore all her options as she met with the advisor.

When asked what she was looking for in a school, Sam admitted she did not know, although admitted she wanted 'a nice Church Of England school'.

It was then that she was served the bad news, as the advisor said: 'The bad news - the deadline for apps for state schools, you’ve got until the end of next week.'
