Amanda Holden admits self-isolation has boosted her sex life

Amanda Holden has revealed Britain's ongoing lockdown has been great for her marriage, saying she and husband Chris Hughes have been indulging in some 'lockdown loving'.

The Britain's Got Talent judge, 49, said spending more time than ever with Chris has been great for the couple's relationship as they quarantine together at home with their children during the pandemic.

Speaking to The Sun, Amanda said: 'This whole thing has been great for my marriage. I know people are talking about it causing spikes in baby-making and divorce rates, but for us it has been brilliant.

'I’m too old for more babies but our relationship is stronger than ever. It’s all about the lockdown loving. You’d never know it because whenever I post photos online Chris refuses to be in them — or he takes them — but getting all this time together for once has been great.'

Amanda and Chris have been married since 2008 and are parents to daughters Alexa, 14, and Hollie, eight.

Amanda has been keeping her social media followers entertained with her humorous snaps while she has also displayed her jaw-dropping physique in a series of bikini selfies.

The radio presenter admitted she tends to avoid reading the more lustful comments on her photos.

She said: 'Sometimes they’re funny, but sometimes I weigh them up and I think, "Hmm, no". But I’m happy to keep putting them out there. They are for my own amusement really.'

Amanda added that she tries not to take life too seriously and always looks on the bright side, saying she would have fallen down a black hole by now if she didn't.
