Michael Clarke has responded to a fan who told him he looked 'old' in a post on Instagram on Thursday.

The 39-year-old former cricket captain shared a photo of himself hunched over a table while doling out his four-year-old daughter Kelsey Lee's weekly vitamins.

His recently bleached blonde hair is on full display, as he keeps warm under a hooded black puffer jacket.

'U [sic] become old now...' commented one shameless follower.

But rather than getting upset by the person's blunt remark, Michael seemed to agree with them and found the comment hilarious.

'Very true,' he wrote, adding a crying-while-laughing emoji, before later commenting with another crying-while-laughing emoji.
