Some MasterChef Australia fans might think that Poh Ling Yeow has the competition in the bag this season.

But now dessert queen Anna Polyviou - who has appeared as a guest judge on the hit cooking show - has revealed who she thinks will win the latest series.

Speaking to News.com.au this week, Anna said she thinks Reynold Poernomo, 26, will 'smash it out of the park this season.'

While she said that she's friends with Poh Ling Yeow, Hayden Quinn, Callum Hann and Reynold, she thinks Reynold will take home the series.

'He's just so focused,' Anna said.

'He understands food and he's very precise. He's great to watch,' Anna said.
