The Simpsons has responded to a adviser who compared Kamala Harris' voice to that of their much-loved animated matriarch Marge.

Jenna Ellis, the campaign's senior legal adviser, tweeted on Wednesday that Harris - who was picked by 's opponent Joe Biden to be his running mate this week - sounded like Marge.
