Daisy May Cooper shared a sweet snap of her newborn son on Instagram on Thursday.

The This Country star, 34, thanked Gloucester Delivery Suite for 'going above and beyond' after a 'traumatic few days'. 

Daisy announced she had given birth on Wednesday, and her latest post showed her one-day-old son fast asleep wrapped in a blanket.

The actress captioned the picture: 'Cannot thank @deliverysuitegrh for all they are doing for our little bubba and me. 

'Its been quite a traumatic few days and they have gone above and beyond' (sic).

On Wednesday, Daisy announced she had given birth by taking to Instagram to share her first snap of her baby boy.
